Contract-Oracle Database Designer

Our direct client located in Austin, TX has an urgent need for a Sr. Oracle Database Designer. This is not necessarily a DBA, but could have had that background. Oracle 7.x or 8.0 will work for experience. We are looking for someone with 5 years of Database design. This person will be gathering requirements, DESIGNING TABLES, putting requirements into logical design, relational modeling, and logical design. There are 4 Production Databases (about to be 7-8) and 3 Development databases. This person will mainly be working with the Development databases, or databases that are not yet created. Candidate must have actually designed tables, rather than just doing post design production support. Contract is expected to last 1 year. Pay rate: up to $90 an hour.
