Hi,

I am a newbie in Oracle. I am working on Oracle replication at the moment and am having problems setting up master to master asynchronous replication using the Replication Manager. I am on Oracle 8.0.4.2.1 and Replication Manager 1.6.0.0.0.

This is not the main problem. I need to delete the user repadmin created by the Replication Manager and start fresh but when I try it either from svrmgrl or as sys , the drop user repadmin cascade; command seems to be hung. It looks like there are some locks that is preventing this user from being dropped. How do I find what is preventing me from dropping this user and how to drop this user.

I might need to drop this user a few more times till I understand the Replication stuff in full.

Any help would be certainly most welcome. arul Received on Fri Feb 11 2000 - 08:42:19 CST
