Martin,

I have no problem with this situation onmy NT workstation. As long as you supply the right database connections in the right TNSNAMES.ora. I have no concurrent problems detected.

succes

\net80\admin\tnsnames.ora contains (net8)

    TcpExample.world =
  (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =

        (ADDRESS =
          (PROTOCOL = TCP)
          (Host = Production1)
          (Port = 1521)

\network\admin\tnsmanes.ora contains (sql*net 2.3)

    TcpExample.world =
  (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =

        (ADDRESS =
          (PROTOCOL = TCP)
          (Host = Test2)
          (Port = 1526)
