Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> Lesser-known functions
Dear Oracle Community:
I am currently doing research for an article about databases that may
include some information about Oracle. My special "mission" is to dig
up unusual and lesser-known functions of the program that an average
user hasn't heard of, or doesn't know how to do. These functions should
be relative to one of three possible topics: Performance Enhancer, New
Idea, or Troubleshooting. They must be suitable for beginning or
intermediate users. I would be most interested in any useful tips or
information that anyone can offer. The tip must be useful and
verifiable. Please post the tip to the news server as a new message
labeled TIP: PLEASE TRY AND VERIFY so that other users may try it and
comment on it. If you hold a position within a known company or on the
Web, please send me the tip along your name, title, and company for
appropriate credit. Also, if you know of anyone else who holds a
notable position or hosts a prominent web site that can offer a
contribution, I would welcome the reference.
Thank you all for your time.
Regards,
Anne Shevrin
