Newbie Q: Replication of databases

I'm trying to make 2 databases (each on an other computer) to replicate the data between them.
I have been reading the Oracle Replication Help, but it doesn't help me a lot.

What do I have, I have 2 computers with both Oracle 8 Enterprise installed.
- Comp 1 has 2 tables, made with sqlplus.

then I runned Replication Manager, made a db connection to the db.
made a mastergroup in the db connection.
runned setup wizard to make a master site (now I have 2 db connections, 1 with username_at_dbservicename, second - repadmin_at_dbservicename).
i have tried to make an scheduled link , but after configuring the link, I cannot find it any more.

and what should I do now ?
- what do I still have to configure on my first computer

what should I configure on my second computer (and how to do that)
and so on...

What I really need is a kind of step-by-step guide.
