I want to access data from an Oracle8i Lite database via IBM Visual Age Java 3 (Java 2) and MS Visual C++ 6.0.
It seems to be that Visual C++ can read data from Oracle at least 1.5 to 3 times faster than Java. Can this be true?

Thx for comments!!!!
Chris

PS: For testing I use a table with 150 columns and approximately 11.000 records. I read one attribute and iterate through all records.
