Sorry, didn't mean to imply a lack of knowledge -
On my system, the http://myserver:8080/ will not work either - but specifying the DAD name does -
I'm not sure what is different, since I am using 'out-of-the-box' default settings ( I haven't had time to do much customization ), but I suspect something in the /_Admin/ Listener.htm or /_Admin/Gateway.htm details - Have you specified a default home page for each DAD on the gateway.htm page?
