That is exactly why I didn't maintain my membership in Mensa. Mental gymnastics like numeric sequences are silly and arcane unless a person is a matematician solving a real-world problem.

You have decided that IQ tests are accurate because you have a vested interested in maintaining that they are accurate - in other words, you lack objectivity because you have a need to be perceived as intelligent.
