hello,

I have HP unix and Oracle 8 database, my problem is :

insert a file (file unix) in a table, in fila file i have five columns and one of the column have this format ( -123,4567) in my .CTL this column is

TOTO POSITION(123:150) FLOAT EXTERNAL in my table is

TOTO FLOAT
I have search with FLOAT,DECIMAL,INTEGER but no result, in my table the columns TOTO +AD0- 0 or 1,3E+-9.

Does anyone have the solution, please help me.
