File Upload through OAS 4

Hi

Has anyone used OAS 4 to upload files from a client to a server? If so how? Perhaps I should explain.

I need to upload files from client machines to a server for processing. I cannot use FTP because I have no control over the users environments and not all of them will be setup correctly for FTP. So I want to use HTTP. The server runs OAS 4 as its web server so I figure I can make use of it. On the clients I'm thinking of using a TCL script to make the HTTP connection with a query string telling the server which file to upload. I guess that on the server I need a PL/SQL program using the procedures in the owa_content package.

My problem is I cannot figure out how to put it all together. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Alisdair
