help with ORA-01031: insufficient privileges error

Hi:



I'm trying to run a dba script given to me to create a new database in
PO8 using sql/plus 8.0 running on NT 4.0 WS.



When I load and run the script, it crashes on  the statement...



        connect internal



I also cannot "connect internal" from sql/plus even if I log in as
system or as sys, or login to sql/plus using internal/oracle.



But I can "connect internal" if I go to svrmgr30 and do it that way.



What am I doing wrong?



I also tried logging in to NT with admin privs and got the same error.
