There are several alternatives you might consider. Which is
easiest/cheapest depends on what you have lying around and what
you have experience with.
The following is a partial list of products can be used to generate data entry forms for Oracle:
Oracle Corporation Tools
Developer -- download or buy from Oracle -- the price is right and the tools are designed to work with Oracle
J-Developer -- download or buy from Oracle -- the price is right and the tools are designed to work with Oracle (J stands for Java)
Other Commercial Products
Visual Basic -- The old Microsoft standby use ODBC, RDO, or ADO to connect to Oracle
Access -- It makes a decent front end tool to talk to Oracle. Use ODBC, RDO, or ADO to connect to Oracle
Delphi -- Borland's development tools are outstanding and Pascal is a good development language
J-builder -- Borland's Java is great for those that prefer OO programming and aren't into C++
C-Builder -- Borlands C compiler is preferred by many developers
Visual C++ -- Microsofts C compiler is another candidate Powerbuilder -- From Sybase. A lot of serious developers swear by it.
Freeware
Perl/CGI/DBI -- Very capable -- see www.perl.com Tcl/TK -- Easy to learn -- see www.tcltk.com Python/Tk -- Easy to learn and reputed to be more powerful than Tcl/Tk. -- see www.python.org
Any of the above will work
