Newbee to Oracle request

I'm looking for some sort of user's guide to starting Oracle 8. I checked out online bookstores and most starter guides to Oracle (Dummies, etc) have terrible reviews. I've downloaded Personal 8 (trial) and want to get started, but have no idea where to begin.

NOTE: I am well versed in normalized relational databases and SQL, so I'm not starting from scratch in the DB world.

Does someone have any online (or offline) help you can recommend? Thanks,
