Re: Oracle 8 on Novell??

Just my opinion but with < 20 concurrent users, Netware ( on a server with lots of Ram and disk space and a good processor ) should do quite well...Its not the best platform to get support from Oracle on, but I have been running one ( since V6 ) on Netware with few problems and my organization has several large instances running on Netware
Where Netware runs into problems is with multiuser TP applications with many simultaneous users all doing a lot of transactions - its not scalable enough to handle that kind of load effectively ( at least not as effectively as say Solaris )
