slow forms performance over citrix

Hi,

I am running an application build with 4.5 or 5.0 oracle forms through a Citrix metaframe 1.8 server. we use Secure ICA over tcpip as the terminal server client.

Updating the screens is very (dog) slow. At this point the delay seems to be related to initial startup of the application.While the issue is happening I can look at the server and it is not stressed.

Does anyone have any ideas why this would be happening?
