Are you having problems with the Client getting at the database?



if you have updated from v7 of SQLNET, be aware the tnsnames.ora file on the
windows client that the new Oracle software (eg. SQLPLUS8.0) is using is in
ORACLE_HOME\NET80\ADMIN and not in network\admin.



Have you updated the TNSNAMES.ora file in this location?
