ORA-2041with ODBC via DB-Link

Hi,

we are running Oracle 8.1.5 on Linux and have several Db-Links to 7.3.x databases. When we try to retrieve data from a remote table via ODBC 8.1.5.x (there is a view for each remote table in the local database) we get an ORA-2041 error ("client database did not begin transaction").

We do not get this error when we use an 8.0.x driver instead.

Any ideas?
