Problems after upgrade and patch

I had NT service pack 3, oracle 8.0.5, designer 2.1.2 and developer 2.1.
This morning I installed NT service pack 5 and patch 80522.exe for oracle.
Now when I go into my forms and try to process an insert, my cpu goes to a
snail's pace with CPU usage at 100% and Dr. Watson using 99%. Any ideas?
