Actually Evan I am having some problem in configuring Storyserver4.2(as
said backend is oracle 8.0 here also )...The problem is that when I try
to create a new CMS and go on with it..I get an error saying oci.dll not
found...What I see here is that oracle have "oci80.dll" but no
"oci.dll"...and hence I keep on getting that error..But on the other
hand if I copy oci80.dll to oci.dll then I am able to enter..but
again(obviosly)..I get some error...which is obvious as oci.dll is just
a copy and not actual oci80.dll....I was how this problem could be
resolved....
Either oracle 8.0 "might" have problem..as they might have forgotton to name it oci.dll and instead named oci80.dll...or the upgradation of storyserver to 4.2 might be the case...OR I MIGHT BE DOING Wrong..But some thing is definetly wrong..If you could correct the problem Thanks in advance
