What is the SQL syntax for inserting a value into
the column with a unique index/ constraint?
I've been suggesting using nextval, but don't have any details on this.
ie. INSERT into Company (company_id, name, address)
VALUES (56, some Company, 555 malibu dr.)
this gives a parent key violated error.
