Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> Listener on Unix; I am confused...
I am kind of confused. Suppose you have the listener configured to listen on
one port - let' say 1521, then do you at all have to add an entry to
/etc/services? (e.g. listener1 1521).
Now I configure the same listener to listen on 1526 too. How do I do this in
/etc/services? I suppose having two entries with the same name in
/etc/services is not what you want to do:
listener1 1521
listener1 1526
How do I resolve this? Received on Tue Aug 31 1999 - 02:48:06 CDT
