Failed to authenticate user

Dear all,

I have installed Oracle8 under NT.

I have two questions:

1. The error "Failed to authenticate user" occurs when I try to submit a job with the Enterprise Manager. I have already set login and password for the services (under the preferences menu) but it still doen't work. The message "Awaiting agent confirmation" appers and the the job fails.
2. I have one listener for the two instances. Is that a problem? What should appear in the NT Registry for the parameter: ORACLE_SID? The default (ORCL) or the new one which I created?
