Client Pc is Timing Out, How can Up the Time on the DB

To anyone that can assist me:

I have Client Machine that is trying to access the Database Remotely... The Pc keeps timing out... How can I Up the Time Out on the Database? Is this possible, since there seems to be nothing that we can do for the network...
