ulimit

Hi everybody,

after using the installer to install Oracle8.0.5 Server on a SUN SPARC Solaris, I would like to run the root.sh script. Everything is fine until an error message occurs which is saying:

                Please raise the ORACLE owner's ulimit as per the IUG.

How can I modify the ulimit? What is the IUG? I am using the Cshell but I am just beginning to work with UNIX...
