this one is universally accepted by spreadsheet users. Its not an Oracle term but it is a pretty popular one -- dates way back for pc users.
Its a universal import/export format for them. The file extension is .csv. If you "file save as" in excel, you'll find the file type "(comma delimited) .csv" is one of the formats. one of the easiest ways to get data from a web browser into excel is to return a .csv file..
I guess its as universal as YMMV, ROTFL, IMO, IMHO, OTOH (now lets see how many emails I get asking what those mean :)
