I have a problem with OCI interface of Oracle 8i`s client:
Two applications (Seagate Crystal Reports v.7.0 and Platinum ERWin/ERX
3.5.2) can`t connect to Oracle 8i server
true OCI - they just display the following error message:
"ora-03121: no interface driver connected - function not perfomed"
With OCI from Oracle 8.0.5`s client all worked fine, but with Oracle 8i`s -
it doesn`t work at all.
Seagate Software told that that`s Oracle`s problem and that you (Oracle) are
investigating this problem.
So, I wonder, if any changes in Oracle 8i has been already made and how I
can get these fixes (or that will
be a new version or whatever it can be ...) ?
