Oracle Type 2 JDBC worked with 8.04, fails under 8i

I have an application (Java SQL Query tool) which ran fine with both type 2 (OCI) and
Type 4 Oracle JDBC Drivers under Oracle 8.04 for NT (sp3).

Now, using Oracle 8.1.5, the type 2 driver gives a "memory at 0x00000004 cannot be
read" error when I try to connect. The Type 4 driver still works under 8i.

I've tried numerous PATH and CLASSPATH Combinations.

Any ideas???? Received on Wed Jun 30 1999 - 19:25:57 CDT
