Good book on base tables

I was just wondering if anyone could give me the title of a book that
outlines the base table schema of an Oracle database.  If possible I would
like to write queries to determine all the tables, views, stored procedures,
etc. that are in a database.  Is this information available in the manuals
that come with Personal Oracle?  Thanks in advance.
