What do you want to edit? You may edit data remotely with SQL Plus just so long as you have SQL*Net installed and the proper ports are accessible. You may edit settings remotely with Enterprise manager just so long as the proper ports are, once again, accessible. Everything is possible -- why would the O/S of the machine make any difference?
