STORING PICTURES (.BMP) IN DATABASE

Hello every body,

	I have heard that you can store & retrive pictures in an ORACLE DataBASE.
       How is this done?
       Is there  some special syntax to be used.
      What sort datatype should be used?
      How can such data be quried and seen?
