You wont believe this, but here is the problem. i just got off the
phone with the tech guy at Oracle and here is what he said:
Oracle Developer 6.0 and Oracle8 personal ed. are not compatible. Yes thats right- they company that makes both products failed to make two of their products work together.
But this isnt what blows my mind. Here is the solution; You have to DOWNGRADE Oracle8 to Oracle 7.3.4 for your Database to work with the MOST RECENT version of Oracle Developer. What a headache.
