Hi Susanne,

Run the Regedt32, from the Hkey_local_machine/Software/Oracle check if you have the TNS_ADMIN key, if you do, it should have the value of the Tnsnames.ora's directory path (c:/Orant/database/Admin/Network...i.e..) and the ORACLE_SID=<sid>. Also from the c:\ORANT, search for *.ora and find out how many duplicated tnsnames.ora files, keep only one copy in (C:/Orant/database/Admin/Network...for example) and rename the other.
