Financial system selection

Looking to select & implement a financial package (G/L, A/P, A/R, Purchasing) for a $ 500 million Desktop Computing Services company. Have see the JDE OneWorld product demo and the Oracle financials demo (Lawson is next). Was wondering if there are any folks that have recently implemented any of the above vendor packages and would like to share some experiences (who did you choose and why ?, how long did it take to implement ?, lessons learned ?, etc.).
