A number of options for this one,
If simple SQL statement, then you could use the EXPLAIN PLAN command of SQL*Plus or even the 'set autotrace on explain'. Both of these require the PLAN_TABLE to be created, the second one is slightly easier since the plan is automatically outputted after the data result is outputted.
Other options are to use SQL TRACE, and then use TKPROF to analyze the data.
