The performance of my fiest OCI app is terribly slow

Hi.

I wrote my first ICO app which executes a series of SELECT statements and grabs results. The performance is terribly slow - it is 10 times slower than the similar JDBC Java app written for WebLogic/JDBC server. What wrong am I doing?

Could you send me some info how to increase the performance of my benchmark app?
