Forms 4.5 optimization

I am working on an Oracle human resources project. I copied an existing form and tailored it to my needs for a vendor interface. Im running Forms 4.5 on a Pentium 166 with 64 megs or RAM using NT. The problem is that when I run my form on the client side (my PC) it maxes out my CPU and takes a very long time. I was wondering if anyone knew of this problem or has experienced this problem. When I process one person through my interface, the system reacts quickly. When I do 100 people, my system gets choked. I have to process over 7500 people! If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it. I don't know if I can change any of the PL/SQL in the program, and I don't know if I have something extra that I do not need from the original program that I copied.

Thank you. Received on Sun Apr 25 1999 - 15:46:06 CDT
