irregular ORA-1002 fetch out of sequence

We are having the problem that a SQL query run on our datawarehouse works perfectly when run from a system within our subnet but when run from a workstation on another part of the network sometimes returns a ORA-1002 Fetch out of sequence.

Setup:
ORACLE 8.0.3 Enterprise Server

Client:
ORACLE 8.0.3 client
Windows 95
Business query
Net8

Any help would be appretiated
