Loading mainframe files with more than 254 columns ?

Hi,



I am trying to load laarge mainframe files, which have more than 256 
columns in datafile. Anybody have any suggestions ( how to split etc..) 
or pointers to additional info?


Any response on this subject greatly appreciated.
