Crystal Reports ODBC Drivers

I am constantly being challenged when it come to ODBC drivers connecting Crystal Reports 6.0 to my Oracle 7.1.6 database. I had no problems when connecting Crystal Reports v5.0, 16bit, SQL*Net v1, but when I upgraded to v6.0, 32bit, SQL*Net 2, that's when I run into problems. I'm a new DBA/Sys Admin, is there any books or web sources to help me out?
