TreeApplet in OAS 4

Details: Netscape 4.5.1, Sun Solaris 2.5.1, Oracle OAS 4.0.6.4.0

I have a strange. The TEXT for the TreeApplet does not appear when I open OAS Manager. All I see are the icons. If I click in the space next to the icon, the text appears. Further weirdness, this is only a problem running on Solaris. Running on Win95 (also Netscape 4.5.1) works fine.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
