Actually, it was Oracle 7 ODBC for Win95. I never could get
7 driver working. After a long struggle to install Oracle
Client 8 for Win95, I got drastic...
- re-formatted the C: drive
- re-installed Win95
- loaded Oracle 8.0.4 plus the 8.0.4.0.3 patch
The thing actually works now. I'll stay with Client 8 in
Oracle 7 compatability mode til the rest of the place cuts
over to 8. It finally works, and I don't want to rock the boat.
