Forms 6 and Web Deployment

Has anyone used the production ( or beta ) version of Forms 6 and attempted web deployment of forms executables ???

We need to start thinking about this fairly soon and our only previous attempt was with Dev 1.4w ( using MS IIS ) and we found the output fairly poor with limited widgets allowed and VERY slow access ( probaby due to the Java classes being loaded )

Having been to the UKOUG conference and spoken to a few bods they indicated that Dev v6 supported easier Forms Deployment but has anyone actually any experiences/ views on this

We do NOT want to use Oracle WebServer and really need it to be independent of Database version ( i.e 7 or 8 )
