Hallo,

I installed Oracle enterprise server 8.0.5 on a S.U.S.E. 6.0 linux machine. Kernel V 2.2.2. The installation of the clients were successful. Also the the binaries running without problems.

The problem which still resist is the use of pro*c. A lot of compilation errors occur during compile time.

gcc -v shows:
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/2.7.2.3/specs gcc version 2.7.2.3

Does someone know whats wrong and can give me a hint how to solve it?

Please send any response also as e-mail to

thank you in advance
