SQL*Net connection timeout configuration?

I use Oracle 7.3 and SQL*Net 2.3 between two
NT 4.0 workstations.



Can somone please tell me how to control the
timeout value when connecting to a remote database
and the server is dead ?



If I start "SQL Worksheet" it takes over a minute before
it return. I want to set this timeout value to 5 seconds.
