Oracle 7 ODBC connect string

I'm developing an application to work with Oracle 8 over ODBC...

A customer wants to use Oracle 7 (running standalone on Windows 95). They have an ODBC driver. It is asking for a connect string (as described to me over the telephone).

Does anyone know what goes there?

I know nothing about oracle 7, and very little about oracle 8.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
