Hi,



Using Oracle 7.3, I have a large database table that has a column of
LONG datatype used for storing text.  I wish to represent these records
sorted by this text field.  I know the SQL won't not let me sort on a
LONG field so I was looking for some other effiecient solution.  If
anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated.
