Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> How to interface an Oracle DB with Perl via WWW ?
Hello,
I would like to build a dynamic web where content would be stored in an Oracle database. The data is retrieved via an SQL request writing in a Perl script and fed to another Perl script which build the HTML page.
I have Oracle 8 and PL/SQL, Perl 5. The web site will run on a Netscape web server. Which other components shall I need so as to build this web site ? In fact, Oracle said me that I need a Perl cartridge so as to access to the data through the Internet. I have read that I only need this cartridge if I use an Oracle web server.
Is there anyone who can help me ?
Thanks,
Khoi-Nguyen. Received on Sat Jan 30 1999 - 11:38:38 CST
