Hello:

I am thinking of setting up a role whereby developers can select, insert ...

But there is a schema owner of the tables in an application that we have purchased from a vendor.

This schema owner and all end_users are assigned to a role.

To oblige the developers, can I create another role(if I decide to only allow select)
for this schema owner or do I need separate new ids and a new role?

Can I assign alter system kill process to the role? Should I create a role for each developer to do so? As of now, I may need only two or three. business analyst may also want the same thing? If so, can I use the same role or different ones?

Any other ideas on how I may do this?

Thanks.
