HELP: Problems with different ODBC drivers on different machines with same applications (VC 5.0)

Hello,

i've got a big big BIG problem with my VC++ 5.0 application after the development an
a faster WinNT 4.0 workstation. Both workstations i worked on are running on the same
NT version. The problem i have is the following. I started developing my application using Oracle ODBC Driver 'Oracle73 Ver2.5'. Everything worked fine. Then i changed the workstation to a faster one with a bigger monitor. But i wasn't able to install the mentioned ODBC driver v2.5 there. Therefore i used another one, namely 'Oracle73', the standard Oracle ODBC driver. Again everything worked fine.

BUT THEN !!! After the original owner of the other workstation returned, i transferred the workspace of my application into my old environment with the v2.5 ODBC driver, and nothing should be the same as before. When executing the application, i'm not even able to log in the database. All i get are curious debug assertions from methods inside the MFC, which i've edited never.

I don't know what to do and i'm looking forward to possible solutions of my problem.
Maybe anyone outside has had a similar problem.
