Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone has successfully install Oracle 8.0.5 on Red Hat Linux. If yes, do you have any tips or pitfalls I should watch for? I am a beginner in using Linux and Oracle, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, what are the minimum packages I need to install?

What is the minimum disk space required?
What does the root.sch script do to the system?

Thanks in Advance!
